The small print, in capital letters

This offer is solely aimed at people who have not had any Unicaja product or service in the last twelve months. Only one account per person may be opened. A gross annual amount of €250 will accrue as interest in the first year at an AER of 1.2572% (APR of 1.25%) without any maintenance or administration fees, provided a constant average balance of €20,000 is kept. Once this period has elapsed, the return will amount to an AER of 0.00% (APR of 0.00%) without accruing any interest. Interest will be paid on a monthly basis and taxed as investment income in accordance with prevailing legislation. The offer will remain in force until 30 September 2026. You will likewise be exempted from paying any maintenance and administration fees, as well as from standard and immediate wire transfer fees for any euro-denominated transfers made between customer payment accounts in the SEPA through the Electronic Banking service, the Mobile Banking service or Unicaja ATMs. Fund movement orders (OMF) processed through the Bank of Spain are excluded from this offer. In addition, a promotion will remain in force until 30 September 2026 for new customers who get a salary or pension of a net monthly amount equal to or greater than €600 paid directly into their account or who directly debit self-employed social security contributions equal to or greater than €50, provided they have not been directly paid or directly debited at Unicaja in the last twelve months. This promotion envisages an incentive totalling a net amount of €283.50 for any salaries or pensions between €600 and €1,199, or a net amount of €364.50 for those which are equal to or greater than €1,200, as well as for customers who directly debit their self-employed social security contributions, all of which will be according to the rules which may be consulted here. Joining this promotion requires signing a twenty-four-month permanence commitment and meeting the terms and conditions within at most three months. The amounts received will be deemed as investment income and subject to taxation. In addition, a 1% refund of the total amount of directly debited bills that are charged to the account in each settlement period will be applied with an annual limit of €200. Only water, gas, electricity and telecommunications bills will be counted for such purpose. This bonus may not be combined with other promotions of a similar nature and its amount will also be subject to taxation as investment income according to prevailing legislation.

Exemption from transfer fees for standard and immediate euro-denominated transfers between payment accounts of customers located in the SEPA made on the Unicaja Electronic Banking service, Mobile Banking service or its ATM network. Fund Movement Orders (FMOs) made through the Bank of Spain are excluded from this exemption.

Debit card without any issuance or maintenance fees. Debit cash withdrawals without any fees for using the card at ATMs belonging to the following networks at these provinces:

  • At all Unicaja ATMs in: Cádiz, Málaga, Almería, Jaén, Ciudad Real, Albacete, Cuenca, Toledo, Cáceres, Salamanca, Ávila, Zamora, Valladolid, Soria, Palencia, León, Asturias, Cantabria, Ceuta and Melilla.
  • At all Unicaja ATMs and additionally withdrawals as from €120 at any ATMs belonging to the EURO 6000 network, Banco Sabadell, Bankinter, Caja de Ingenieros, Arquia Banca and Euronet in the following provinces: La Coruña, Lugo, Orense, Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Álava, Navarra, Burgos, La Rioja, Huesca, Lleida, Girona, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Segovia, Madrid, Guadalajara, Teruel, Tarragona, Castellón de la Plana, Baleares, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Granada, Córdoba, Badajoz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas.
  • At all Unicaja ATMs and additionally withdrawals as from €120 at any ATMs belonging to any network in: Huelva and Seville.


Valid until 31 December 2026. The fee will always be displayed prior to the cash withdrawal so you can either accept or cancel the transaction.  Three debit cash withdrawals per card and month without any minimum amount with Young Debit cards. EURO 6000 institutions include: Abanca, Novo Banco, Ibercaja, Kutxabank, Cajasur, Evo Banco, Cecabank, Caja de Ontinyent, Colonya Caixa Pollensa and Cardtronics.

  • Terms and conditions for cash withdrawals from other domestic, Euro Zone, Swedish and Romanian networks: 100% of whatever the owner of the ATM charges Unicaja Banco for the withdrawal.

  • Terms and conditions for cash withdrawals from foreign networks: 4.00% (minimum of €3.50)

  • Informative Document on Fees: A document which contains a standard table (European format) that lists all the fees which apply to the account: maintenance, wire transfer, overdraught fees, etc.

  • List of Associated Services: A document which outlines the list of services associated to the payment account according to European regulations, including direct debits, wire transfers, card issuance and other services that are included or can be signed up for with the account.
